December is here!!

The kids and I are trying to stay warm this weekend. The storm hit our area Sat. morning. Really, we did not have it as bad as it could have been. The kids and I stayed in the house the whole day. Chad went deer hunting with about 6 or more guys. Because of the weather they were able to fill half of the tags. Which means they had a really good day.

Today, I got up early took a shower and then got all the kids up and gave them baths for church. We left right at 8:59 which is late because we are to be there at 9 for Sunday School. Because of the roads, it took me 12 min to get to town. Then there was no one at church. I checked the news channels and other places there was no cancel for our church. So, We filled the Expedition up with fuel and headed back home.

I start my 35th week today. I am feeling good. I am however, ready to have my body back to myself. He is a big mover, kicker, and all around active baby. So, if the Lord would allow me to go early, I would like to have him after the Dec. 25 but before my due date Jan. 6th. If anyone wanted to know what I am in need or want I am registered at Wal-mart and at Target.

Blake will be in his first Christmas Program Tuesday the 4th at 7PM. My mom and dad will be there, Liz, and all of us. It should be great. He is excited he has a few parts. He has been learning the Luke 2 passage. I will take some pictures and display them after the program. The picture of Blake in his group is abit fuzzy sorry.. Curtis was the surprise visitor..

Keep in touch and enjoy your time with family and friends during the holiday season.

It's been great to see the kids: Blake this afternoon after we returned from a weekend at the Quad Cities attending Bill Calhoun's funeral/praise service. It was good seeing all there and spending the weekend at the hotel with all the family. We were without electricity at the hotel last night during the ice storm for around 5 hours. We played games, chatted and ate during that time. Great fun. I enjoyed having the girls here Friday afternoon before we left. The kids are all growing up so fast. Blake and I played Rummikub this afternoon. He's helping with the tree and decorations right now. I enjoyed my 10 days at ND with the Brauns. It was great being there for Alasdair's birth. Addie and I got to know each other better too. It all went far too fast. Now we all are anticipating the birth of new baby Gardner. Much love, Liz/mom/Nana

Yes, I know just a few more days. Those are always the longest. Thanks for your boost to get me started on Blogger. I would like to learn how to do more things so when the baby comes I am not trying to figure out how to do it all. Thanks

I saw you driving down the road Sunday morning and wondered where you were going! I was going to call you and ask if you knew church was canceled, but I didn't want you to answer your phone while driving on that icy road!
