The kids have there first Parent/Teacher conferences this week!
Blake is excelling when he puts his mind to it.. Really! I was shocked when I went to Blake's conference and the teacher showed me his reading scores! Ok the normal/average 4th grader should read 90 words per minute. Blake reads 179! He loves to read as long as it is what he wants to read. Oh yeah, and also when his mother doesn't ask him to read!
Blake 10, is in basketball this year instead of wrestling! Thank God! I would much rather go watch him in basketball than wrestling. NO OFFENSE to wrestlers its just not my thing! He loves to go ride in combines and tractors with Chad and sometimes he is allowed to drive them.
Brooke 8, is still a free spirited often annoyingly happy (I say this with all the love in the world)! Brooke loves to read as she calls them "chapter" books. These are obviously books with chapters in them. LOL!! She is very smart in math and she pushes until she understands things. She is the artist in the family and is always bringing me home goodies for me. Brooke loves her TNT class at Awana's.
Braxtyn 6, loves stuffed animals, pillow pets, riding her bike, playing WII and puzzles. She loves school but still is not in any hurry to read a full book by herself! She is definitely the "lets take things slow and enjoy everything" person in our family. If you ask her what she loves the most about school she would say music class!
Braden 3 (turns 4 Jan) oh our little man!! Where do we start! He is so much fun he brings joy to all of us! He is such a fun, happy, and loving little boy. He loves JOHN DEERE tractors but mama loves to hear him say International because he says it (innernational) Its so darn cute you would have to hear it to understand. Anyways, he loves to ride in tractors and combines with Chad. The little man can do anything he loves to play WII with the big kids and he loves to sing and dance with his mama!. Braden loves to go to "school" to see his teacher Mrs. Reinkoester! She is his cubbies leader at Awana's he calls it school. As you can imagine being the last and the youngest of 4 he is ready and has been ready to go to school. He can't wait for next year..
